A native Floridian, Gia de Cadenet dreamt of living in France when she was a child. In 2006 she put her professional life on hold for two years to get a master’s degree in Paris. But a few short weeks after arrival, she bumped into a red-headed Frenchman and her fate was sealed. Ten years later, she’s balancing new roles as a wife, B-school professor, mother and novelist. Paris was her first French home, but she’s happily traded it for Bordeaux. When she isn’t grading papers or wrangling her children, she’s writing funny, spicy, touching fiction.
